Gimhae and Busan Companies Promote Localization of Liquid Hydrogen Materials

*Gimhae City, Korea Institute of Machinery and Technology and Gyeongnam Techno Park have agreement
*To reduce their dependence on imports of liquefied hydrogen "produce 5 tons a day when the plant is completed."

Gyeongsangnam-do is actively working to create an ecosystem for the liquefied hydrogen industry. Following the establishment of a liquefied hydrogen demonstration plant, a project which help to localization of related equipment and materials is being carried out.

Gyeongsangnam-do signed a business agreement to localize liquefied hydrogen equipment and materials at the LNG Cryogenic Mechanical Technology Test and Certification Center of the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials in Gimhae on the 28th Apr. The signing ceremony was attended by hydrogen companies in Gimhae and Busan, including the Korea Institute of Machinery and Technology Park in Gyeongnam, HI AIR KOREA, DK Rock, NK, and Daeha.
